Gowri Rice Mill

Balajinagar is where we're located, specifically at house number 787. It's a regular neighborhood, and we've been part of it for many years now. You can see the big metal shutters of the mill from the street. Inside, the space is mostly filled with big bags of paddy and the hulling machines that we use every day. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure the equipment stays running like it should. The floor is usually covered in a bit of husk, no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. That's just how it goes when you're working with rice. Local farmers bring their harvest to us regularly. Sometimes there's a bit of a queue and people have to wait their turn under the shade. We try to be fair and just handle the work as it comes in. It's not a very glamorous life, but it's what we know how to do. The machinery we use is old, but we keep it oiled and it still works fine. If something happens to break, we usually just fix it ourselves. Most of the neighbors know us by name. We're not trying to grow into some huge company. We just want to do a decent job here in Balajinagar and go home. We just keep the grain moving. That's our life at Gowri Rice Mill.
