Nature Farm Millets & Exports

We’ve been running Nature Farm Millets & Exports for quite a while now from our spot on the second floor over here at No. 259 6th Street. If you know the Gandhipuram area, you know it gets pretty busy during the day, so finding our building takes a minute sometimes. Heading up those stairs, you will mostly see just us and a lot of grain bags stacked up. We spend most of our hours dealing with different millets. There are so many varieties out there, and keeping track of everything that comes in from the farms around here is a full-time job. It is honestly hard work, mostly just lifting heavy things and checking the grains to make sure everything looks right before it goes out. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of all the sacks moving around, but that is just how it goes when you’re working with natural stuff every day. We're not some big fancy operation with a glass front or a lot of employees. This is just a regular workspace where we get things done. While my brother handles the paperwork, I deal with the people coming in or the phone calls. Keeping things very simple is what we try to do. Whenever the phone rings, someone answers it. Sometimes we have to go digging through the back if someone is looking for a specific type of grain. Most of our days are just spent talking to suppliers or checking the mail. It is a normal business.
