Eastern Organic Fertilizer Private Limited is situated at 35, Monakkarampalayam. We’re right on 4 Main Road, near Sanmugam. Working with organic fertilizer means we’re usually out in the more open parts of the area where we have space. It’s not the most glamorous job, dealing with fertilizer all day, but it’s important for the local growers. The location on the main road makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time. Our building is more of a warehouse and a small office combined. It gets a bit hot in the summer since we don't have fancy air conditioning everywhere, just a few fans. Most of our days are spent checking the mixes and making sure the bags are sealed right. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want the fertilizer to be what it’s supposed to be. People around here know the name Eastern Organic and they know where to find us on 4 Main Road. It’s a practical business run by regular people. We have a small crew and we all know our jobs. There’s always a bit of an earthy smell around the place, which I guess is expected. We just keep our heads down and get the work done day by day. It's just a regular local operation.
