The neighborhood around us has grown up quite a bit since we first started. We have a lot of space for our operations, though it feels smaller when we are at full capacity. The morning starts early here. You can usually see the lights on before the sun is even up. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of glossy brochures. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. Most of the people working here live nearby. It makes the place feel more like a community effort. The machines are old but we keep them running. Sometimes they break down, and we spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. That’s just part of the routine. We have a small area where we sit and have tea during breaks. It’s a simple setup at Sivasakthi Colony. We don't use big words or make huge promises. We just handle the grain and make sure the mill is running right.
