We are located at 173, Sivasakthi Colony in the Ganapathy area. Coimbatore Roller Flour Mills (P) Ltd. has been operating from this site for many years. It’s a familiar spot for the locals. The building is large enough for what we do, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. Being in Ganapathy means we are around a lot of other activities, but Sivasakthi Colony stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. Inside the mill, it’s often loud because of the equipment running. There is always a bit of flour dust in the air, no matter how much we clean. That’s just the nature of the work. We have a small group of people who have been with us for a long time. We know each other well. Our office is just a small room off to the side with a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from long-standing connections. We show up early, get the machines going, and stay until the work is finished. It’s a straightforward life at 173 Sivasakthi Colony. We take pride in just getting through the day’s quota. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s ours and we’ve been doing it a long time. We usually share some snacks during the afternoon slump to keep ourselves moving.
