Avs Overseas

Avs Overseas is based at Gn Mills on Mettupalayam Road. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a while now. Our work involves moving goods around, mostly dealing with overseas stuff as the name says. It’s a lot of coordinating with trucks and making sure the crates are packed correctly. Being near the mills means there’s always something happening around us. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks, phones, and a lot of shipping documents piled up. We spend most of the day talking to suppliers or checking on where a shipment is currently located. It can be a bit stressful when things get delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. Mettupalayam Road is a busy stretch, so there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We don’t have a big marketing team; it’s just a small group of us making sure the logistics work out. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the place, and other days we can barely keep up with the calls. We’ve learned a lot about how to get things from one place to another over the years. It’s a practical business and we try to keep things simple for everyone involved. If you come by Gn Mills, you’ll find us busy with the latest load. We don't have a fancy lobby, but the work gets done and that is what matters.
