Av Thomas & Company Ltd. is over here on Shiva Subramaniam Road in the RS Puram area. The address is 177, and it’s a fairly straightforward place. RS Puram is usually quite busy, but our section of the road is okay. We have a regular office setup here, with desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. A lot of our time is spent on the phone or looking at samples of tea that come across our desks. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking details, nothing too exciting. We have a small kitchen area where we can brew a pot when we need a break. The building itself is an older one, so it has that specific smell of old wood and paper mixed with the faint scent of tea. We’ve been at 177 for a while, and the staff here mostly knows the routine by heart. We don’t really do any big displays or anything; it’s just a place where the business side of things happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time parking on Shiva Subramaniam Road, but we always figure it out. It’s just a standard day-to-day operation where we try to stay on top of the orders and make sure everything is where it should be. It’s just how we work here in RS Puram.
