Andavar Food Products

Andavar Food Products is a small operation located at 115, Gori Street in South Udayar Palayam. It’s a narrow street and things can get a bit tight when we have deliveries arriving. We mostly spend our time preparing and packing the food items we handle. The building is older, but it serves our needs well enough. You can usually tell we are working because of the different smells coming from our kitchen area. We don't have a big storefront with neon signs; it’s just a regular building on Gori Street where the work happens. Everyone in the neighborhood kind of knows each other, so we see the same faces passing by every day. It’s a very local feel here in South Udayar Palayam. We don't use any fancy machinery, mostly just traditional ways of getting the food ready. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but we just work around those things like everyone else on the street does. We don’t have a public relations person or a big team for sales. It’s just us doing the daily tasks of cleaning, cooking, and boxing things up. The floor is usually covered in some kind of flour or spice by midday, and we spend the evening tidying up for the next morning. It’s just a plain, honest way to make a living, and we’re okay with that.
