Ru Gies Food Court

Trichy Road is always busy and we are right in the middle of it at No 1381 in Ramanathapuram. Our food court is located near the Canara Bank and sits just behind the CTC bus depot. It is not a quiet place because of all the buses and traffic, but that is just the way Coimbatore life is. We have different counters set up inside so people can pick what they want without much fuss. It is a simple setup with basic tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We do not have fancy decorations or anything like that. Most of the people who come in are either waiting for a bus or work in the shops nearby. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we just keep the shutters up to let whatever breeze there is come through. The staff is just a few local guys who know the regulars by face. We spend the morning getting the different stalls ready for the lunch rush. It is a lot of work to keep everything clean and moving when a big group comes in at once. We do not have a big corporate team running things, just us. If you are looking for a place to sit for a bit and have a meal that feels like it was made by real people, we are here. It is a practical spot for a quick bite before you head back to the road.
