Sri Krishna Sweets Pvt.Ltd. has a main spot here on Vellalore Road in the Pattanam area of Coimbatore. We are at Site No. 45 in Karpaga Vinayagar Nagar. This isn't one of the small shops you see in the city; it’s a much bigger operation where a lot of the actual heavy lifting happens. There are always trucks coming in with ingredients and vans leaving with trays of finished sweets. The smell is the first thing you notice—sugar, milk, and nuts being cooked up in big batches. It’s a lot of physical work, and the kitchens and packing areas stay busy from very early in the morning. We have a lot of people from the local villages working here. Our office side of things handles the distribution and the orders for all the different branches. It’s a noisy, bustling place where things are always moving. We don't really spend time on fancy descriptions. We just make the food and get it out to where it needs to go. During the festival seasons like Diwali, it gets absolutely frantic and we all end up putting in extra hours. It’s a lot of responsibility to keep the quality the same every day, but we have a system that works. We've been on this road for a while now and we've seen the neighborhood change around us. It’s just a big, busy workplace focused on making things people like to eat.
