Government High School

It's just us here at the Government High School. We are located right on Madhavarampodu Road in the Gangurajupodu area. Most days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up over the trees. The road gets a bit dusty when the buses go by, but it’s mostly quiet except for when the kids arrive. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the gates are open on time. There isn't much to say other than we’ve been here in Gangurajupodu for a long time now. People around here know the building well. It’s got that look of a place that’s seen a lot of seasons. We don’t have anything fancy, just the basic classrooms and a bit of space outside for the kids to run around during their breaks. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farms wander close to the fence, which the younger ones seem to enjoy watching. Working here means you get used to the rhythm of the village. You see the same faces every morning and say hello to the parents walking by on their way to work. It’s a steady kind of life. We focus on getting through the lessons and keeping things organized as best as we can. The roof gets a bit hot in the summer, so we try to stay in the shade when possible. That's pretty much how it goes for us on Madhavarampodu Road.
