About Christ Church Diocesan School – Education in Chittoor
You can find us at Door No 8-63/6 in the Motar Workers Colony, which is over in Padmavati Puram, Tirupati. It’s a neighborhood where a lot of working-class families live, so the school is right in the middle of everything. We have a connection to the church, which is where the name comes from, but the school itself is its own busy world. Every morning, the sound of the bell rings out across the colony to let everyone know it’s time to start. The building isn't anything fancy, just a few rows of classrooms and a small office where we handle the paperwork. We have some trees in the courtyard that provide a bit of shade when the sun gets too hot in the afternoon. The children wear their uniforms and we try to keep them looking neat, though by the time they go home, they usually have a bit of dirt on them from playing. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy brochures. Most people come to us because they live nearby and their older siblings went here too. The desks are made of wood and they have names carved into them from students who left years ago. It feels like a place with a lot of history, even if it’s just a small local school in Padmavati Puram. We just keep the doors open and do the work we need to do for the families around here.
