Xcel Academy

We are located on the first floor at No 31/1 on Ocf Main Road in Avadi. The Meenakshi Theatre is right nearby, so you can always hear the movies starting or the crowd outside during the big releases. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us. Once you’re inside, it’s mostly just rows of tables and chairs. We’ve been here for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It’s a place for students to focus. We get a lot of young people coming in after their college classes or school. Avadi is a busy area, and being on the main road means we see everything going on outside. We don't have any fancy lounge or high-tech gadgets, just the basics for teaching and learning. The staff here is pretty relaxed. We know most of the students by name. Sometimes we stay late to help someone who is struggling with a topic. It’s not a big corporate operation. We just manage the daily schedule and make sure the classrooms are ready. You might hear the tea seller calling out on the street or the sound of the bus brakes, but we just keep going. It’s a simple, functional space for anyone in Avadi looking to put in some extra study hours. We keep an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when it is quiet.
