Akshardham Learning Centre

Akshardham Learning Centre is situated on R K Mutt Road in Mandaveli, right above the Canara Bank. If you are looking for us, you just have to find the bank at No 171/1 and head upstairs. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you are coming up, especially if it’s been raining. Mandaveli is always a very busy area with plenty of traffic and people moving about, but once you get inside our rooms, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a few classrooms set up with basic benches and desks. It’s not a large corporate office or anything like that. We just focus on teaching the students who come to us from the nearby schools. Most of them live within walking distance. We have been in this spot for some time now and have grown used to the sounds of the road downstairs. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just blackboards and notebooks. The teachers here are local people who know the subjects well. Sometimes parents stop by to talk about how their kids are doing, and we just have a quick chat near the door. It’s a very informal and honest environment. We don’t have a big reception desk or fancy brochures. We just write down the schedule on a piece of paper and stick it to the wall so everyone knows what is happening. It’s a simple way of running things, but it works for us and the families here.
