Akilan Institute

Our institute is located in K K Nagar at Door No 25, Plot No 337, on 36th Street in the 7th Sector. If you are coming towards the Iyyappan Temple, you are very close to us. It’s a quiet residential part of the neighborhood, which is good for studying. We have a few rooms here where we conduct our classes. The furniture is nothing special, just some sturdy benches and tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our time going through the syllabus with students who need a bit of extra help outside of their regular school hours. There isn’t any corporate polish here. We don’t have a fancy lobby or glossy brochures. We just talk to the parents and students directly about what they need to learn. Most days, it’s just the sound of someone explaining a math problem or a science concept. We have some shelves filled with old textbooks and reference guides that students can look at. It gets quite busy in the evenings when the school kids arrive. We don’t follow a very rigid corporate schedule; we just stay until the work is done. Sometimes we have to move the tables around to make room for more people. It’s a practical, local place where we focus on the books and the lessons. We’ve been here in K K Nagar for a while now, just doing our thing.
