Our office is tucked away in the Arunachalam Apartments, specifically unit 12/27 on Arunachalam Street. If you’re trying to find us in Purasawalkam, the best way is to look for the Bhuvaneswari Theatre. We are right behind it. Doveton is a crowded area and the streets can get a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We’re also near Vadapalanai Street. The building is older and has that typical Chennai feel to it. It’s not a big corporate space. It’s just a few rooms where we get our work done every day. Sometimes the noise from the theatre or the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started Whizzo because we wanted to do things our own way without all the red tape you find in bigger companies. It’s a small group of us here. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. Finding a parking spot near the apartment can be a real struggle, so we usually tell people to come by bike or take an auto. The walls inside are a bit bare and we have stacks of papers and gear sitting around. It’s a working office, not a place for showing off. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay out of the heat. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being in this part of town.
