Moksha Stores

Moksha Stores is located right near the water at T55 B by Elliots Beach in Besant Nagar. Being so close to the ocean means we always have a bit of a breeze but it also means there is always sand on the floor no matter how many times we sweep it up. The building is an old one and it has that typical beach house feel to it. People come in all the time after they have been walking on the sand or sitting by the waves. We see a lot of families and groups of friends especially in the evenings when the weather cools down. It is a simple shop and we don't try to make it something it isn't. We sell things that people around here need and we know many of our customers by name because they live in the nearby flats. The salt in the air sometimes makes the metal parts of the door rusty so we have to keep an eye on that. Working at the beach sounds like a holiday but it is just a job like any other. We open up in the morning and stay until the crowds start to thin out at night. It is a nice place to be even if it gets very crowded on the weekends. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful when someone is looking for something specific in the aisles. It is a basic lifestyle but we like the view.
