Our place, Currimbhoys Home Products P. Ltd, is situated at 45, Adyar Bridge Road. Being in Adyar is quite nice, though the bridge road gets really busy with cars and bikes at all hours of the day. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the neighborhood change around us. We deal with home products, so the office is usually filled with all sorts of items for the kitchen or the house. It's a bit cluttered, to be honest. We have boxes stacked in the back and samples sitting on the tables near the entrance. The building is older, but it has a lot of character and history. We get a bit of a breeze from the river area sometimes, which helps when the heat gets bad in the afternoon. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers or helping people who happen to wander in. We aren't a big corporate chain; we just run things from this spot on the road. The staff has been here for years, so we all know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep up with the orders coming in. Adyar has a specific feel to it, and we fit right in with the local shops. It’s just our daily routine at number 45. Nothing flashy or promotional, just a solid place where we work every day.
