We are based at No. 24 Postal Colony 3rd Street in West Mambalam. This part of Chennai is always crowded and the streets are quite narrow around here. Online Surgicals. Com is basically a small office where we handle all the internet orders for medical items. Most of our day is spent packing boxes and waiting for the courier guys to show up. It gets pretty cramped inside when a big shipment comes in. We have a few computers and some shelves piled high with surgical supplies. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so it is a bit of a squeeze when the delivery trucks try to come down 3rd street. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. The staff here just gets on with the work, checking the website and making sure the addresses are written correctly on the packages. It is not a fancy setup with a reception or anything. Just some tables and chairs and a lot of tape. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the orders. West Mambalam is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when we are busy. It is a regular job for us, and we just try to get the boxes out on time. That is how it usually goes here from Monday to Saturday.
