You can find Sri Rudran Instruments Co over in Nungambakkam. The address is a bit confusing because it’s New No. 145 but used to be Old No. 56 on Vaikundapuram 2nd Street. People still get them mixed up sometimes when they’re looking for us. We’ve got a small space where we keep all the instruments and tools we deal with. It’s not a huge building, just a regular place on a regular street. The neighborhood has a lot of history and we’ve been part of it for a bit. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. It’s just the folks here who know how to handle the equipment. Most days are spent checking stock or talking to regular callers. We keep things pretty low-key. The shelves are usually pretty full and it can get a bit cramped if we have a big shipment come in. We like being in Nungambakkam because everything is close by. The street can be tight for parking, so most of us just walk or take the bus. We don’t really have a grand story. We just opened up shop because this is what we know how to do. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the orders as they arrive. It’s a steady pace for us, nothing more or less, just day by day work.
