Almco Life Support

Our place is over in Saligramam, tucked away on Angamuthu Street. It’s a quiet enough area near the Postal Audit Colony, which is nice for working. We deal with life support equipment here. Since it’s serious medical stuff, we have to be really careful about how everything is stored and handled in the office. The space we have isn't very big, but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. People often come by when they need specific supplies or if they have questions about how a particular machine works. We’ve been at this address for some time now. The Chennai weather can be really tough on the gear because of the heat, so we keep the air conditioning running most of the day to protect the stock. It’s mostly just a few of us working through orders and checking the inventory. We don't spend much money on decorating the walls or making the place look corporate. It’s more about making sure the boxes go out on time to the people who need them. Sometimes the traffic on the way to Saligramam is a total nightmare, but once you get inside the colony streets, it’s much better. We handle a lot of phone calls from different clinics and hospitals. It is steady, practical work. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team trying to keep things moving along.
