Vks Engineers

Vks Engineers is tucked away in Sidco Nagar at No-9/40, B Type. Villivakkam is a busy area and we’ve been part of this little industrial pocket for a while now. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we have everything we need to work. It’s mostly metalwork and greasy hands around here. We open up early before the sun gets too high because the heat in these sheds can get tough by midday. You’ll find us wearing old overalls most days. There is always a stack of orders on the desk and some metal parts waiting to be picked up near the door. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to answer phones professionally. Usually, one of the guys just wipes his hands and picks up if it rings. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but Sidco Nagar stays pretty much the same with its workshops and small factories. We share some tools with the shop next door sometimes if they’re in a pinch. It’s that kind of place. Most of our tools have been with us for a decade or more. They aren’t new but they work fine. We take our lunches together on the benches. It is just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for people who need it. We don’t overthink things much. We just show up and do what needs doing until it's time to head home.
