Hema Engineering

Hema Engineering is located at No. 4 Brindavan Nagar, right on Vanagaram Road in the Athipet area. We are part of the larger Ambattur Industrial Estate, which is a huge place if you’ve ever tried to find a specific unit there. Our workshop is fairly easy to spot once you get onto Vanagaram Road. We’ve been operating here for a good amount of time. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the surrounding factories and the heavy vehicles passing by. Our daily routine is pretty standard: we open up early, check the machines, and start on the day's tasks. We do a lot of component work and general engineering. The shop is filled with the smell of coolant and metal dust. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture or a decorated office space. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor actually doing the work. The crew here is small but we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know how to handle the workload. Sometimes we get really big orders that take over the whole space, and other times it’s just small bits and pieces for local people. We just take it as it comes. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we’re used to it. We just want to keep the shop running and do a decent job for whoever walks through the door.
