Madras Engineer Industries Private Limited

We are based on the 6th floor of the C-2 block in the IITM Research Park. Being up here gives us a bit of a view of Kanagam Road, though we mostly just see the tops of trees and the traffic piling up during rush hour. Madras Engineer Industries Private Limited is just one of many names in this big R D Centre. The hallways are long and quiet, and you spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, especially around noon when everyone goes for food. It’s a very different vibe from a street-level shop. Everything is a bit more structured here, but inside our own space, we keep it pretty simple. We have our desks, our computers, and way too many cables running along the floor under the tables. The air conditioning is always humming in the background, which is a blessing given how hot it gets outside. Kanagam Road is always busy, so getting in and out of the park takes some patience. We aren't really the type to have big meetings with fancy slides; we mostly just talk over the desks or by the water cooler in the hall. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. The research park has all these modern features, but we just focus on the engineering side of things. It’s a long day sometimes, but being on the 6th floor keeps us away from the street noise. We like it here. It's just where we spend our time.
