We run Vishnuvisai Engineering & Trading Pvt. Ltd. from our place at No 18 on 17th Cross in Telephone Nagar. It’s over in the Perungudi area. It’s a bit of a quiet street compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. We handle a mix of engineering work and trading, so there’s always something different happening on any given day. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly filled with papers, samples, and equipment. We aren't the type to have a fancy receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, you’ll just find us in the back working on a project or responding to some requests. Perungudi has changed quite a bit since we first set up here. There are more buildings and more people now, but our little corner of Telephone Nagar feels pretty much the same. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain things as they are. If a project is going to take time, we say so. If we can get a trade done quickly, we do it. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't have any grand mission statements pinned to the wall. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep our customers satisfied. Our focus is just on getting through the daily list of tasks without too much fuss.
