Vinod

I started this place on Muthulinga Reddy Street quite a few years back now. It is just me and a couple of helpers mostly. We open up early in West Tambaram when the sun is barely up and the milk trucks are making their rounds. People know us here. It isn't a fancy setup or anything, just a basic shop where you can get what you need without a fuss. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the door but we just put a bucket down and keep going. My father used to say that a shop is only as good as the people who walk in, and we have had some good ones over the years. We see the same faces every morning, people heading to the station or just walking the dog. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic on the main road nearby, but that is just how it is in this part of town. I do not spend much time on paperwork or computer stuff, I would rather be standing behind the counter talking to someone. If you walk past the corner, you will see our old sign for Vinod. It is faded a bit from the sun. Inside, things are a bit cramped because we try to keep everything handy. We do not have a big team or a big plan, we just want to be here tomorrow doing the same thing. It is a simple life for us.
