Shine Global Houseware Limited

You can find us at Number 41 on Vaidyanathan Mudali Street in Tondairpet. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets are quite tight for big trucks. We’ve been operating Shine Global Houseware from here for quite a bit. The building isn't brand new, but it holds all our houseware items just fine. In the mornings, we are usually busy unloading crates or checking what needs to go out to the shops. The humidity here in Chennai can be a lot, but we have a couple of big metal fans going all day. There is always someone walking by the front door since it’s a busy street with people going to work. Tondairpet has a certain rhythm to it that we like. We know the neighbors, and they know us by name. Our space is mostly filled with boxes of plates, pans, and other kitchen things we deal in. We don't have a big fancy showroom with glass cases. If someone wants to see something, we just pull it out from the stack and show it to them right there. It gets a bit dusty with all the cardboard moving around, but we try to sweep every evening before we lock up. The stairs are a bit steep, so we have to be careful when moving the heavier kitchen sets. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the corner shop while we sit among the boxes and chat about the day. It’s just a regular place where we do our business.
