Vijay Catering Services

Our kitchen is located at Plot No 1159 in Anna Nagar, right on 6th Avenue in the Z Block. We are quite close to Chinmaya Vidhalaya, so we usually hear the school bells and the kids during the day. Vijay Catering Services has been operating from this spot for some time now. It’s a busy part of Chennai, and we are right in the middle of it. We start our work very early, often before the sun is even up, to get the stoves going. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of cleaning, chopping, and stirring involved in every single meal we prepare. We use simple ingredients and try to keep everything organized in our workspace. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we have to be careful about not making too much noise too early. Our staff is local, and we all just show up and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the orders are big, and other times they are just small local requests. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or anything like that. If you walk down 6th Avenue, you can usually smell whatever we are cooking that day. It keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We just focus on getting the food out on time and making sure the containers are packed properly. That is the daily life here for us.
