Vignesh Driving School

If you are around Anna Nagar West in Chennai, you might have seen our Vignesh Driving School cars moving slowly through the streets. We are located at 1228/1, right near the State Bank ATM. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where that ATM is. Starting a driving school was something we did because we saw how nervous people get when they first sit behind the wheel. Chennai traffic is no joke, and Anna Nagar can be quite busy during the day. We spend most of our time in the passenger seat, reaching for the dual clutch or brake whenever a learner gets a bit too close to a rickshaw. The office itself is small, just a place to handle the paperwork and talk to people about their license applications. We have those old charts on the wall showing road signs and hand signals. Most of the real work happens out on the road. We’ve taught students of all ages, from teenagers who can’t wait to drive to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. Our cars have seen a lot of miles and a few bumped bumpers over the years, but that’s part of the job. It takes a lot of patience to sit through hours of stalling engines and wrong gear shifts, but we’re used to it. We just want people to feel a bit more confident when they finally get their own car out on the road and navigate the city safely.
