If you head over to Chetpet, you’ll find us at 54, Spur Tank Road. That’s where L Man School Of Motoring is based. We’ve been teaching people how to drive on these roads for a long time now. The traffic around Spur Tank Road can be a bit intimidating for beginners, but we think it’s a good place to learn because if you can drive here, you can drive anywhere. Our office is just a simple room where we handle the bookings and the paperwork. We have a few instructors who have been with us for years. They are patient people, which is a requirement in this line of work. Every morning, we check the cars and make sure everything is running right before the first student arrives. We see all kinds of people, from teenagers getting their first license to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. It’s nice to see someone get the hang of the clutch or finally park correctly after struggling for a bit. We don’t have any flashy advertisements or anything. Most people find us because their neighbor or cousin learned with us. It’s a small, family-run kind of thing. We just focus on keeping the cars in good shape and being on time for the lessons. Chetpet is a busy part of the city, and we’re glad to be a part of the community here. We enjoy seeing our students out on the road later on.
