Sun Driving School

Sun Driving School is located at No. 73A on Salai Road. We are actually right upstairs from the Kannappa Hotel. It’s a busy spot, so there is always a lot of activity around. Learning to drive in this area can be a bit of a challenge because of the traffic, but that’s actually a good way to learn. We spend our days taking people out in the cars and showing them the ropes. It’s a lot of repeating the same things over and over, like how to use the mirrors and when to shift gears. Most of the people who come to us are local residents from around Salai Road. We don’t have a massive fleet of vehicles, just a few reliable ones that we keep running. The office is small and usually has someone waiting for their turn or filling out a form. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t use any big words or complicated methods. We just sit in the passenger seat and help people get comfortable with the steering wheel. Some days are long and the heat can be tough, but we just keep going. It feels good when someone finally passes their test after being nervous for weeks. We’ve been at this location for a while and most people in the neighborhood know us by now. We’re just here every day, helping folks get their licenses and hopefully making the roads a bit safer for everyone.
