Allterrain Driving School

Our little office is located at 638 Anna Salai, right on Mount Road. If you know where the British Council is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy part of Chennai, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We have been teaching people how to drive in these streets for quite a few years now. The cars we use aren't brand new, but we keep them running well and they are clean inside. Driving around here isn't easy with all the buses and bikes, so we spend a lot of time just showing people how to stay calm behind the wheel. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything. It's just a couple of chairs and a desk where we handle the licensing paperwork and schedule the lessons. Sometimes the instructors are out on the road and the office is quiet, and other times it’s packed with people trying to get their learner’s permits. We don't use any slick sales pitches. We just tell people how many classes they need and get them started. The goal is just to make sure they can handle the clutch and the gears without stalling in the middle of Mount Road. It can be a bit stressful for beginners, but we’ve seen all kinds of drivers come through here. We just keep doing our thing day after day.
