Annai Driving School

Our driving school is located at No 55, Appar Street in Padi. If you know the Britannia School, we are right near there. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement. People are always walking to the shops or heading to the bus stop. We have a small office where we handle all the paperwork for the licenses. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of files and some old chairs for people to sit while they wait. The walls have some charts on them but they’ve been there so long the edges are curling. We are usually busy in the mornings and evenings when people are free from their jobs. The street outside is where we start many of our lessons, so we are always watching the traffic. It can be a bit noisy with all the horns and engines, but that’s just Padi for you. We keep a small fan on the desk to stay cool. The floor is just plain tiles that we sweep out every morning. Sometimes people drop in just to ask about the fees or the schedule. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just talk to them and tell them how it works. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now and everyone on Appar Street knows who we are. We just take things one day at a time here.
