Victory Engineering

At Victory Engineering, things are usually pretty loud. We are located at No 3 & 4 on Gulam Murthusa Street, right on Wallajah Road. If you know the area, we’re directly opposite the D1 Police Station on Mount Road. It's a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of metal and machines. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. My hands are usually stained with grease by noon, and that’s just part of the job. We handle a lot of different mechanical parts and repair work that people bring in. Sometimes it’s a small piece that needs fixing, other times it’s a bigger project that takes up half the floor space. It isn't a clean place, to be honest. There are scraps of iron and old tools scattered around the workbenches. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If someone comes by, they usually just find us at the back near the lathes. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when we’re busy, so we keep the fans running full blast. I like being near Mount Road because it’s easy for people to find us, even with all the traffic. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to get it done right so the machines actually run when they leave here. It’s basic engineering, nothing too fancy or complicated.
