Venkateswara Engineering Works

Venkateswara Engineering Works is tucked away at No : 83-A on 3rd Cross Street in Sathya Nagar. It is right in the Padi area, not too far from the Golden Flats that everyone uses as a landmark. If you are looking for a place with a polished lobby, this isn't it. Our shop is where the real work happens, with welding sparks flying and the smell of cut metal in the air. We have been in this part of Padi for a good long time. Most days, we are just busy with whatever mechanical bits and pieces people bring to us. The 3rd Cross Street can be a bit tight when trucks are moving through, but we make it work. We are not a giant company with hundreds of workers. It is just a few of us who know how to handle the lathes and the drills. We usually have the radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the grinders. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to the job. The walls of the shop are stained with years of grease, and we like it that way because it shows we actually do something here. People from around Sathya Nagar know they can just drop by if they have something that needs fixing. We do not have a big front desk, so you usually just find us by the machines.
