Veltech Engineering

We are based at 3, Vasantham Nagar in Thirumudivakkam. Veltech Engineering is just a standard engineering shop. We don’t have anything luxurious here. It’s mostly just workbenches, heavy tools, and raw materials. Thirumudivakkam is an industrial area, so we fit right in with the surroundings. We spend our days dealing with various mechanical problems and fabrication needs. It’s a lot of standing and moving heavy stuff around. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just a small group of us who know how to handle the equipment. We take the jobs as they come through the door. Some are quick and others take a few days. We don't try to overcomplicate things. If something needs to be welded or cut, we just do it. We’ve been at Vasantham Nagar for a while and we know the other guys in the nearby units. We often borrow tools or help each other out. That’s how it works here. The shop is usually a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get the work done right so we can go home to our families. It’s a regular job and we’re glad to have it. Most people find us through local contacts and that’s fine by us. We stay busy enough without needing to put out ads or anything like that.
