You can find us at No.9 on Karaneeswarar Pagoda Street. It’s a street with a lot of history. We’ve been operating Veebee Metograph from this spot for some time. We do a lot of specialized work that people don’t always understand right away. It involves marking and metal work mostly. The shop has that smell of metal and machines that you get used to after a while. It’s a bit noisy when the equipment is running, but we don't mind. We talk over the noise. Most of our customers are from nearby, but some come from further away because they know we have the right tools here. The street gets quite crowded, especially during certain times of the year. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know the machines inside out. Sometimes parts break and we have to fix them ourselves. That’s just part of the deal. We keep a lot of old samples around the shop so people can see what’s possible. It’s interesting to see how things have changed over the years we've been here. Karaneeswarar Pagoda Street is a good home for us. We'll be here for a long time yet, just doing what we do every day. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the street gets a bit quieter. It is steady work.
