At Thangam Mobiles & Electronics, we are located at number 3, Shanmuga Nagar. Our shop is right on the Chitlapakkam Main Road. It is a very convenient spot for anyone living around Chitlapakkam. The shop isn't very big, but we have packed it with plenty of mobile accessories and small electronics over the years. You will see the glass display cases as soon as you walk in. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter looking at screens or talking to people about their phone issues. It is a friendly neighborhood. I know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. We do not have any big sales pitches or fancy talk. If a phone can be fixed, I will tell you. If it is just junk, I will tell you that too. We have some stools for people to sit on while they wait for a recharge or for a screen protector to be put on. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much during the rush hour, but it brings people in. We use a simple paper ledger to keep track of our things. No complicated computer systems here. Just a local shop doing what we can for the folks who live nearby. We have been on this road for a few years now and it really feels like home. It is just a regular business run by regular people who live just a few streets away.
