Diamond Traders

Diamond Traders is located at 98 Bunder Street in George Town. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and full of energy. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite a long time. We trade in various goods, mostly things that local shops need for their inventory. The front of the shop is usually stacked with boxes, making it a bit of a squeeze to get inside. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just have shelves and ledgers and a couple of old desks where we do the paperwork. The street outside is always noisy with carts and delivery vans. I’ve spent most of my life on Bunder Street, so I know almost everyone around here. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just talk to people and fulfill their orders. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days we don't even have time to eat lunch. It’s honest work and it keeps the family fed. We try to be fair with our prices because everyone around here is just trying to make a living too. Sometimes the overhead fans squeak a bit, but we’re used to the noise. It’s just how business goes in George Town. We stay open until the sun goes down and then we lock up and do it all again tomorrow. It’s a simple way to live and work.
