Valan Driving School

Our school is located at 39 Ambattur in Chennai, with the 600053 pincode. It is a typical Tamilnadu neighborhood where things start early in the morning before it gets too hot to breathe. Valan Driving School is basically just a room with a desk, some chairs, and a bunch of keys. We have been working in this area for quite some time, so we know every pothole and shortcut in the nearby streets. The sun usually beats down on the cars all day, so the steering wheels get really hot to the touch. We keep some old rags in the back to wipe the sweat off the seats. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or people who live just a few streets away. We do not have a website or anything like that, just the phone number and the sign outside the door. We spend a lot of time standing around the testing grounds, waiting for the officers to show up and do their thing. Sometimes the traffic in Ambattur is so bad we barely move a kilometer in an hour, but that is just how it is. We drink a lot of cold water and try to keep the students from getting too nervous when they have to merge into the main road. It is just a regular way to make a living, and we enjoy the daily routine of it.
