You can find us at Sp-157/E in the Industrial Estate. This is where Vaasan Engineering Works has been for quite some time. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy offices or manicured lawns. It’s a place for work. At Vaasan Engineering Works, our days are filled with the sounds of machines and people getting things done. We don’t spend a lot of time on fancy talk or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a local business with a shop floor and some basic office space. It gets hot in the afternoons, and the air is always a bit heavy, but that’s just how it is in the estate. We’ve got a good group of people here who know what they’re doing. We don’t have any big mission statements or corporate goals pinned up. We just have a list of things that need to be finished. It’s a very practical way of living. We’ve been at Sp-157/E long enough that the place feels like a second home to most of us. It’s honest, it’s a bit gritty, and it’s exactly where we need to be to do our job. We just keep our heads down and keep moving forward. That is how we have always operated and how we will continue.
