V. D. Swami & Co. Ltd.

Our office is at Vds House, which is located on Cathedral Road in Gopalapuram. It’s a bit confusing for some because of the old and new numbering—Old No. 26 but New No. 41. We’ve lived through that change. Being V. D. Swami & Co. Ltd. in this part of town feels right. Cathedral Road is always busy, but once you step into Vds House, things settle down a bit. It’s an older building with some character to it, which we prefer over those new shiny towers. We’ve got our routines here. The morning coffee, the sound of the traffic outside, and the stacks of files that seem to grow every week. We aren't a big, cold corporation. We are just a group of people working under the V. D. Swami & Co. Ltd. name. Most of us have been here for a long time, so we know the corners of this building pretty well. It’s a comfortable place to be. We don’t go in for big marketing or trying to sound more important than we are. We just stay busy and try to keep things organized. Gopalapuram is a good area to be based in. It’s got a bit of history, just like us. We keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple life at the office, and that’s how we like it. We focus on the day's work and then head home.
