Pharma Gem (India)

Pharma Gem (India) is over at 103, Nyniappa Naicken Street in Park Town. If you’ve ever been to Park Town, you know how packed those streets get. It’s a hub for all sorts of things, especially medicine and chemicals. Our shop is right in the middle of that bustle. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and bottles. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, but we’ve got a system that works for us. The air usually smells a bit like a pharmacy, which I guess makes sense. We deal with a lot of different people, from local doctors to other shopkeepers. It’s a busy environment and you have to be quick on your feet. We don't have time for a lot of fluff. When someone needs something, we find it and get it ready. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it’s home to us. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but the way we do business stays pretty much the same. We just try to be reliable. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on Nyniappa Naicken Street, but that’s just life in this part of town. We keep going regardless. It’s a steady job and we take pride in getting the orders right for everyone who relies on us to have what they need in stock.
