People usually find us here at No. 111 on Kundrathur Road because of the big sign outside, but once you step into the shop in Porur, it’s mostly just the sound of the machines running. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. The floors have some ink stains that won't come out, and the air smells like fresh paper and chemicals most days. It gets pretty loud when the heavy printers are going at full speed, so we sometimes have to shout over the noise to hear what someone wants. We spend a lot of time just loading paper trays and checking the alignment on the prints. It’s not a fancy setup, just some sturdy desks and shelves stacked high with reams of different weights. Sometimes the traffic on Kundrathur Road gets so bad that deliveries take longer than they should, which is frustrating for everyone. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or fixing paper jams that happen at the worst times. We have a couple of old fans that struggle in the heat, but they keep the air moving while we work through the stacks of orders. It’s just us here, trying to keep up with the jobs that come in through the door. Usually, there’s a bit of clutter on the front counter—pens, order slips, and samples that haven’t been put away yet. We just get on with it and hope the power doesn't cut out during a long run.
