You can find Uvdv Power Engineers on the first floor of No. 14, Jayammal Street in Teynampet. Being in Teynampet means we are right in the heart of the city, but Jayammal Street is tucked away enough that it isn't quite as loud as the main roads. We have been in this office for a while now. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the building has that old Chennai character to it. Inside, it’s mostly desks covered in diagrams, technical manuals, and maybe a few stray wires here and there. We aren't the type of company that has a big glass front or a glowing neon sign. We are more about the technical side of power engineering. A lot of our time is spent out at different sites, so the office can be quite empty some afternoons, or it can be packed with everyone trying to finish reports at the same time. It’s a small team here. We know each other well and we don't bother with corporate formalities. Sometimes the traffic in Teynampet makes it hard for visitors to reach us on time, but that’s just life in this part of town. We keep a simple routine and focus on the electrical work we have on our plates. It’s a functional space where we drink a lot of coffee and try to keep up with all the projects. No fancy slogans here, just a group of people who know about power systems and stay busy.
