You can find us in Arumbakkam, right in the J-Block of the M.M.D.A. Colony. Chennai is a massive city, but this little corner of it feels a bit more manageable for our Larsen & Toubro team. Our door is at No:141. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall owner knows exactly how we like our morning drinks. The office is a bit of a mix of everything. We have desks piled high with documents and a corner where we keep some of the equipment that isn't currently being used. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working office where real work happens. The traffic on the main roads near Arumbakkam can be a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early to beat the crowd. The M.M.D.A. Colony is a big residential and commercial mix, so there’s always people moving around outside. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a standard block. Inside, we just focus on the logistics and the planning for the various jobs we have across the city. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street a bit difficult to navigate, but we rarely close up. We just keep the files dry and keep working. It’s a bit noisy with the city sounds outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or decorations. We just do our work and go home. Chennai-106 is where we are based.
