Unity Restaurants Llp is located right on Raghavaiah Road in T Nagar. It’s a busy part of Chennai, so there is always something going on outside our door at No. 20. We started this place because we wanted to be in the middle of all that T Nagar energy. It’s not a massive chain or a polished corporate office. It’s just us running the restaurant business from this street. Some days the kitchen is a whirlwind and other days we’re just sitting in the back office trying to get the bills paid and the supplies ordered. We’ve got a mix of staff who have been here for a while and some new faces too. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, especially when the stoves are going, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most of the people who know us just walk in because they’re in the neighborhood. Raghavaiah Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We’ve had our fair share of broken equipment and late deliveries, which can be a real headache. But we just fix what we can and keep moving. It’s a lot of work to keep a food business going in a city like this, but we show up every morning and do what needs to be done. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings, we just cook and serve.
