United Print Solutions

At United Print Solutions, we spend most of our time at No. 25 on Periya Pathai in Choolaimedu. It is a busy little street and the shop is usually packed with rolls of paper and boxes of ink. I started working here because I like seeing how things look once they are finally printed out on a big scale. We aren't a large company with a lot of departments, just a few of us who know how to handle the machines and get the colors right. The morning usually starts with a lot of cleaning because the dust from the street gets everywhere. We have a lot of regular customers who come in from the local shops around Choolaimedu. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big run of posters or booklets, but we don't mind too much as long as the coffee is hot. The shop has a specific smell of warm paper and chemicals that you get used to after a few days. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools where people sit and check their phones. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand. It can be a bit of a squeeze when we get a large shipment of paper delivered, but we always find a place for it. It's just a regular local business trying to do honest work every day.
