Gkm Ladders

Gkm Ladders is located over in East Tambaram, specifically in the Kamarajapuram area. Our workshop is at Rkj Nilayam, Plot No 2, right on the Kamarajapuram Main Road. It’s a good spot because people can see the ladders leaning up against the wall from the road. We’ve been making and selling all kinds of ladders for a while now. We have the short ones for around the house and the really long ones that painters or electricians use. Most of what we do involves making sure the steps are sturdy and the frames don't wobble. It's simple work but it's important because nobody wants to fall off a ladder. The yard gets pretty full of aluminum and wood depending on what we're building that week. We get a lot of walk-in customers who are just passing by on the main road and realize they need a way to reach their roof or change a lightbulb. We also deal with some of the local contractors who need a few sets for a new construction site. It's a small crew here, just a few of us handling the assembly and talking to customers. We don't have a fancy showroom. You just come in, tell us how high you need to go, and we show you what we have ready. It’s an honest way to earn a paycheck and we’ve lived in Sembakkam for years, so we know most of the people around here.
