We are based in the Mahalakshmi Buildings on Mount Road. The address has changed from 92 to 98 over the years, but the building itself is quite familiar to anyone who travels through this part of the city. Mount Road is always packed with cars and buses, so there is a constant rumble in the background while we work. We handle alarm equipment, so our rooms are usually filled with boxes of sensors, panels, and different types of wiring. It’s a practical sort of office. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling to hold all the stock we keep on hand. Most of our time is spent checking orders or testing the equipment to make sure everything functions like it should. We don't have a big fancy lobby; it's mostly just a working space with desks and a lot of technical manuals lying around. The building has that older feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings that help keep it a bit cooler during the hot months. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the buildings around us change, but Mahalakshmi Buildings stays pretty much the same. People come in to pick up parts or to talk about what they need for their buildings. It’s a busy environment, and we usually have several things going on at once. We just focus on getting the right equipment out to the people who are waiting for it.
